The hot tub was a definite highlight, providing a luxurious and relaxing experience. Additionally, the location of the lodge was ideal, offering a peaceful countryside setting while still being within a short driving distance of nearby attractions.

One aspect we didn't appreciate was the excessive use of air fresheners throughout the lodge. As someone with allergies triggered by perfumes, it was quite overwhelming and required us to take measures to air out the space.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the kitchen not being fully stocked with high-quality pans and having to wash some items before use, these did not detract from the overall enjoyable experience. Additionally, the late breakfast timing on weekdays was slightly inconvenient, but the staff were accommodating and allowed me to pre-order a bacon sandwich to take with me.
